FOAMFRAX Introduction

Foamfrax is a fireproof, heat-insulating, and thermally-insulating product that consists of 3 components and is mixed into a homogeneous mixture in a special machine and sprayed in one application.

Formfrax insulation has diversified products customized for temperature and field of application, and can be used immediately after construction, regardless of setting times and thermal schedules. It is superior product for applications in furnace linings (WBF, forging heating furnaces, heaters, kilns, heat treating furnaces, incinerators, ducts, stacks, etc.)

This product is licensed for use only by specialized construction companies retaining a Foamfrax Insulation Applicator License from Unifrax Corporation, and Standard Engineering Co. Ltd. is the sole specialized license company in the country.

FOAMFRAX Advantages

Cost-saving benefits are achieved thanks to quick and easy operation compared with existing refractory, insulating, and keep-warm operations

Creates a pleasant work environment with almost no fiber dispersion during operations

Low thermal conductivity and low heat shrinkage due to outstanding insulation properties at high temperatures

Excellent thermal shock resistance and tough against chemical reactions

Excellent soundproofing and energy savings achieved by the connection of fine fibers to a binder

Excellent ability to extend the life of the furnace, lining patching, and repair as a result of being able to spray directly onto the surface of existing refractory materials (refractory bricks, ceramics, fibers, plastics, castables, etc.)
